Centre Profile: — Work-Study in Moscow Learning Russian from scratch on Language Link's 3-month Work-Study programme was challenging but also fun. The lessons I received were well structured and varied, providing me with a solid grounding in grammar as well as the language I needed to communicate in everyday situations. I always felt that support was there if I had any problems and this goes for my accommodation (which was a lot more than adequate!). As for the work side of my time in Moscow - if I had questions about my teaching, I had a Director of Studies and all the other teachers who were always willing to help and provide suggestions. I found the programme intense, but not too intense, and I have progressed from knowing only "yes" and "no" to being unafraid of conversing with native Russian speakers, albeit with mistakes but still . . . .
