Language Link Russia’s Translation Bureau prides itself on employing native speakers for editing and stylistic correction as well as translation to ensure accurate and authentic natural-sounding translations. Our translators and editors benefit from working in Language Link's international setting which puts them in constant contact with foreign colleagues of various cultural and social backgrounds, thus providing extensive experience in multicultural communication.
Translation/Editor positions are for 40 hours per week in Language Link’s Translation Bureau in Moscow translating texts from Russian into English and correcting English texts from a native-speaker’s point of view.
The majority of work involves translating documents such as advertising materials, business proposals, academic theses, brochures, material for websites from Russian into English and contracts. Translators/Editors are also given the task of proof-reading documents, i.e. carrying out stylistic corrections of translated material prior to its return to clients.
The remuneration package is determined based on test results and previous work experience. Visa support and medical insurance are included, although the costs of a visa invitation and registration are not covered by Language Link. Language Link assists Translators/Editors to find appropriate and affordable accommodation which thereafter the Translator/Editor is responisble for paying for.
Translator/Editor contracts last between 6 and 12 months. Therafter and by mutual consent, contract prolongation is possible.
Translator/Editor positions are currently available in Moscow only, but limited places may be offered in St Petersburg and Volgograd at a later stage.

Language Link has places for 1 or 2 native-English Translator/Editors at any one time.
